This policy explains how Crux Equites (“we”) handles personal data when you visit cruxequites.com. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of this website can be reached at the email address on our contact page.
2. What we collect
- Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. Logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
- Comments. If you comment, we store the name, email address and text you submit, plus your IP address and browser string to help detect spam. Your email address is never published.
- Contact messages. If you write to us, we keep your message and email address only as long as needed to reply and follow up.
- Newsletter. If we offer one and you subscribe, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.
3. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed for the site to work, such as those WordPress sets when you leave a comment or log in. If we add analytics or embedded content that sets other cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
4. Legal basis
We process data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website (logs, spam protection), your consent (comments, newsletter, optional cookies), or to answer your request (contact messages), in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
5. Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to run the site, such as our hosting provider and spam filtering, under data-processing agreements. Automated spam checks may process comment data. We do not sell or rent personal data.
6. Embedded content
Articles may link to or embed content from other sites, such as videos or social media posts. Those sites may collect data about you under their own policies.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact us to exercise these rights. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and keep the site software up to date.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
